Updated NXT Takeover XXX card following NXT: NXT Women's Championship set; Ladder Match Ins/Outs

Rhea Ripley and Dakota Kai had a match on NXT (8/5) to determine who would face Io Shirai for the NXT Women's Championship at NXT Takeover XXX. Kai would win with some help from Mercedes Martinez.

Elsewhere, Damian Priest defeated Oney Lorcan and the debuting Ridge Holland in a triple threat match to earn a spot in the Takeover ladder match.

During NXT, William Regal told us that Dexter Lumis will be unable to compete. In two weeks, the losers of the triple threat matches that weren't defeated will have single matches and the two winners will be in the ladder match.
