Three More Championship Matches Official for Extreme Rules!



On Raw (9/6), Drew McIntyre faced Sheamus in a one-on-one match. The winner of the match would receive a WWE United States Championship match against Damian Priest at Extreme Rules. Sheamus would defeat McIntyre with a school boy while using the tights for leverage.


Elsewhere, in the opening segment of Raw, Bobby Lashley told Randy Orton he wanted a match with him after he was RKOed last week. Orton agreed to the match if Lashley would put the WWE Championship on the line. MVP talked it over with Lashley and they proposed that the match take place at Extreme Rules. Orton would then accept.


After Charlotte Flair successfully defended her WWE Raw Women’s Championship against Nia Jax, she was confronted by Alexa Bliss. Bliss made it clear that she wanted a title shot. Flair accepted her challenge but told Bliss that Bliss was in her playground; not Alexa’s!

Extreme Rules is Sunday, September 26th in Columbus, Ohio at the Nationwide Arena. It will air exclusively on Peacock and WWE Network.
