We're in Tampa, Florida tonight at the Amalie Arena for tonight's Smackdown.
We're kicking the show off with BOSS TIME as Michael Cole says! Sasha Banks makes her way to the ring and she's got a mic. Banks tells Tampa that "The Boss" is back on Smackdown. Banks says she came back for her spot that she deserves. Banks says she'll never let someone will her spot again. We get highlights of last week when Banks/Belair teamed up to defeat Carmella/Zelina Vega. Then Banks attacked Belair afterward. Banks says attacking Belair was so easy. Banks says she decided to make a statement and Belair would be nothing without her. Banks says no gratitude ever came out of Belair's mouth. Banks is back for one thing and one thing only. To make Belair pay. CUE BELAIR!! Belair talks about them main eventing Mania. Belair gets in the ring and Banks bails. Belair makes fun of Banks for taking four months. Banks claims she is legendary so she can do whatever she wants. Belair calls her great and ZELINA VEGA IS HERE TO INTERRUPT!! Zelina objects! Zelina says last week and Belair tells her not to come in the ring. Zelina reminds Belair that Belair accepted Zelina's challenge. Banks chimes in and Belair says no one is talking to Banks because Belair is the champ. Belair tells Banks she'll face her at SummerSlam and Zelina that she'll face her tonight!!! Not a great opening segment.
Highlights are shown of the Mysterios/Usos saga lately. Rey Mysterio gives Dominik a pep talk backstage saying they have to be more strategic at SummerSlam. Rey tells Dominik that they can't afford a loss tonight for their momentum. Dominik says he doesn't need help tonight.
Jey Uso w/ Jimmy Uso (WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions) vs. Dominik Mysterio w/ Rey Mysterio
Lock up and Jey backs Dominik to the corner. Dominik turns it around but runs into a shoulder tackle by Jey. Back up and drop kick by Dominik. Dominik runs up the ropes and takes down Jey with a deep arm drag. Dominik runs into a forearm that allows Jey to take control. Scoop slam by Jey. Dominik fights back with right but Jey stops that with an uppercut. Dominik rolls to the outside and Jey follows. Dominik gets back in the ring and kicks Jey into the barricade. DOMINIK WITH A SUNSET FLIP BOMB ON JEY SENDING HIM INTO THE BARRICADE as we go to a commercial.
We're back with Jey in control. Jimmy interfered during the break to give Jey the advantage. Jimmy gets a near fall on Dominik and is visibly frustrated. Jey misses a hip attack in the corner. Dominik counters a Samoan drop with an elbow and hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Dominik hits a spring board moonsault for a near fall. Jey misses an enziguri and Dominik sends him face first into the turnbuckle. DOMINIK HITS A 619!!! DOMINIK GOES UP TO THE TOP. REY TAKES OUT JIMMY WITH A SEATED SENTON! Dominik rolls through the jump and JEY HITS HIM WITH A SUPER KICK!!! JEY HITS A TOP ROPE SPLASH TO WIN IT!!! Classic 50/50 booking as we head towards SummerSlam.

Highlights of Edge heading to the ring last week when he was attacked by Seth Rollins. Megan Morant catches up with Edge backstage. Edge talks about what Rollins had to say last week. Edge calls Rollins a selfish bastard. Edge wants Rollins to meet him in the ring later so he can show Rollins what a bastard he can be.
Rick Boogs is here to play Shinsuke Nakamura to the ring. It's epic per usual and Pat McAfee goes crazy for it by dancing on the announce table. We got a championship contenders match next!
Commentary says John Cena will be back on Smackdown next week!
WWE Intercontinental Championship Contenders Match
Shinsuke Nakamura w/ Rick Boogs vs. Apollo Crews (WWE Intercontinental Champion) w/ Commander Azeez
Lock and go behind by Nakamura. They trade counters and Crews with a shoulder tackle. Nakamura turns it around with a knee drop for a near fall. Crews stops the momentum with a stun gun to Nakamura over the top rope followed by a clothesline. Scoop slam by Crews for a near fall. Crews runs into a knee. Nakamura places him on the top but misses another knee. Kick by Crews by Nakamura stops him from climbing the top rope. Nakamura with a running knee to the gut for a near fall. Trade counters again and Nakamura hits a knee strike followed by a kick. NAKAMURA COVERS BUT AZEEZ PULLS HIM OUT FORCING THE DQ!! Alright then....

Post match, Nakamura sends Crews into Azeez and Nakamura/Boogs stand tall.
Kayla Braxton waits outside Roman Reigns locker room hoping to get an interview. We get highlights of how it came about that John Cena signed the contract instead of Finn Balor. Commentary hypes Reigns vs. Cena. Kayla is still outside the locker room and Paul Heyman comes out to ask her what she wants. She wants his thoughts on what transpired last week. Heyman makes a Tom Brady reference and asks if he could steal Brady's contract of millions like Cena stole Balor's title shot. Heyman says Cena doesn't deserve the title shot. Heyman says Reigns has nothing to say to Cena or Kayla. HEYMAN RUNS INTO BIG E!! Big E just laughs.
Tamina (WWE Women's Tag Team Champion) vs. Tegan Nox w/ Shotzi
So they have given Tegan her first name back. Lock up and Tamina takes control. Tegan uses her speed to get control but is quickly taken down. Tamina throws Tegan to the corner but misses a hip attack. Drop kick by Tegan and she follows with stomps in the corner. Near fall by Tegan. Tegan misses the Shining Wizard. TAMINA HITS A SUPER KICK!! TAMINA GOES FOR A SAMOAN DROP AND SHOTZI SHOOTS HER WITH A TANK MISSILE!! TEGAN ROLLS UP A DISTRACTED TAMINA FOR THE WIN!!! Glad Nox got the win but this wasn't good. Thankfully, it was short.

Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville are backstage when Zelina Vega joins them. Vega wants her championship match next! Vega says Belair has accepted twice so when is her match? Deville says just because Belair accepted, doesn't mean it's happening. They tell Vega if she faces Belair and does well, she can earn a title match against the winner of Belair/Banks.
Edge makes his way to the ring. Edge will speak after a commercial. We're back with Edge in the ring with a mic. Edge thanks Tampa for the ovation. Edge understands that Rollins is nowhere near here. Edge says with what he would do to Rollins tonight, he'd be in jail. He brings up Rollins costing him the championship at Money in the Bank. Rollins shows up on the tron via satellite. Rollins says Edge thinks he has everything figured out. Rollins says Edge is right that they are a lot alike. EDGE CHALLENGES ROLLINS TO A MATCH AT SUMMERSLAM!! Rollins says Edge is in the palm of his hand because Rollins calls the shots. Rollins says he'll think about it and suggest Edge think about it too. Rollins says Edge knows what it's like to have Rollins boot on the back of his neck and he knows what Rollins is capable. Rollins says he'll probably end Edge's career. Rollins brings up Edge's wife and children. Edge gets pissed. Edge brings up eliminating Rollins from the past two rumbles. Edge says Rollins doesn't like that he can't fill Edge's shoes. Edge calls Rollins "Edge-like". Rollins takes offense and says he's better in every way. ROLLINS AGREES TO THE SUMMERSLAM MATCH!!! Edge smiles and nods.
Kayla Braxton is backstage with Finn Balor. Balor stops her and says he was about to sign a contract for a Universal Championship but thanks to Baron Corbin he didn't. Balor says Corbin should worry about his own business. Balor plants to teach Corbin honor and integrity tonight. Then, Balor has a bone to pick with Cena!
The Street Profits vs. Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode
Ford and Roode start the match. Counter wrestling to begin and Ford takes down Roode with a drop kick. Ford knocks Ziggler off the apron but then Roode plants Ford with a slam for a near fall. Ziggler gets tag. Ziggler/Roode with a kick/Russian leg sweep combo. Ziggler/Roode continue to isolate Ford with quick tags. Ford finally hits Roode with a step up enziguri. Dawkins gets a tag! Dawkins is on a roll!! Dawkins hits Ziggler with a spinning neck breaker for a near fall. Roode breaks it up. Ford and Roode go to the outside to brawl. ZIGGLER HITS DAWKINS WITH THE FAMEASSER!!! 1.....2......NO!! Dawkins turns it around and PLANTS ZIGGLER WITH THE ANNOINTMENT!! TAG TO FORD AND HE HITS FROM THE HEAVENS FOR THE WIN!!! Good win for the Profits.

WWE Smackdown Women's Championship Contenders Match
Bianca Belair (WWE Smackdown Women's Champion) vs. Zelina Vega
Belair with a shoulder tackle right away. Belair tosses Vega around the ring. Vega avoids a charge and Belair goes shoulder first into the ring post. Double knees by Vega for a near fall. Belair turns it around mounts Vega and hits punches. Belair takes Vega to three of the four corners. Roll up by Vega for a near fall. Belair picks up Vega like a Glam Slam but Vega counters and gets a crucifix in the ropes. Vega breaks before the count of five. Belair sends Vega to the outside with a boot. Vega takes her time getting back in. Belair tries a scoop slam but Vega falls to the apron. The action goes to the outside. SASHA BANKS MUSIC HITS!! BANKS COMES TO RINGSIDE. Vega takes out Belair on the outside with a rana off the apron. They go back in the ring as we go to a break.
Back from the break, Vega is in control ever since the distraction according to commentary. Belair powers to her feet and runs through Vega. Vega tries a crucifix but Belair powers out. Vega tries a sunset flip but Belair blocks and plants Vega face first. Slam by Belair followed by a moonsault for a near fall. They battle to the corner where Vega gets on Belair's back. Belair turns it around into a snap suplex. Belair rolls through and tries another but Vega counters with a DDT for a near fall. Vega sends Belair to the outside. Vega tries a rana from the apron but Belair catches and sends her into the barricade. Back in the ring, BELAIR HITS THE KOD FOR THE WIN!!!

WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns is backstage with Paul Heyman. Heyman tells Reigns that Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin is up next. Reigns says he's interested.
Finn Balor vs. Baron Corbin
Balor charges right away and Corbin begs off. Corbin wants a mic. Corbin knows last week wasn't cool and tries to apologize. Balor says he doesn't accept the apology and continues to kick Corbin's ass. Corbin turns it around in the corner and suplexes Balor. Corbin pounds Balor with right hands in the corner. Balor comes back with a pele kick! Double leg takedown by Balor. Double stomp by Balor. More repeated stomps by Balor. Corbin comes back and tries a choke slam but it's blocked. SLING BLADE BY BALOR!! JOHN WOO KICK BY BALOR!!! COUPE DE GRACE AND IT'S OVER!!! Squash.

Post match, Balor has a mic and says he would of expected what happened last week three years ago. Balor says he wants Reigns for the Universal Championship and he'll go through John Cena if he has to do it. Balor says name the place and time. HERE COMES ROMAN REIGNS AND HEYMAN!! We go to a commercial.
We come back to Reigns, Heyman, and Balor in the ring. Heyman gets a mic and hands it to Reigns. "Cena" chants from the crowd. Reigns says his special counsel has already addressed his position on last week. Reigns understands why Balor is upset with Cena. Reigns tells him to remember that Reigns tried to help him. Reigns tells Balor to keep his name out of Balor's mouth and THROWS THE MIC AT BALOR!! REIGNS TURNS HIS BACK AND BALOR PUSHES HIM OUT OF THE RING! Reigns turns to Balor and Balor is giving him the double point. Reigns gets back on the apron. THE USOS ATTACK BALOR FROM BEHIND!! BALOR GETS A POP UP SAMOAN DROP!! Reigns heads back up the ramp. USOS GO TO HIT BALOR WITH A SPLASH BUT HE AVOIDS IT!! BALOR FIGHTS OFF BOTH USOS!! BALOR TAKES OUT BOTH USOS AS REIGNS WATCHES FROM THE TOP OF THE RAMP!! REIGNS HEADS BACK TO THE RING!! BALOR AND REIGNS BRAWL NOW!! SLING BLADE BY BALOR!!! THE USOS ARE BACK TO HELP!! SUPERMAN PUNCH!! USO SPLASH!! Reigns pummels Balor from the mount position. REIGNS PUTS BALOR IN A GUILLOTINE!!! REIGNS AND THE USOS STAND OVER BALOR TO END THE SHOW!!
