Smackdown 11/13/2020: The Final Chapter of Mysterio/Rollins Rivalry; Zayn Defends IC Title!

The Final Chapter - No Holds Barred Match: Rey Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: Apollo Crews vs. Sami Zayn (champ)
We're in the ThunderDome and kicking off the show with the WWE Champion Roman Reigns along with Paul Heyman!!! Commentary hypes the Champion vs. Champion match at Survivor Series where Roman Reigns will face either Randy Orton or Drew McIntyre. Both men have a mic. Reigns asks Heyman why he calls this the "Island of Relevancy" because Reigns makes this place relevant. Reigns says the numbers don't lie. Look at what has happened with Jey Uso since aligning with Reigns. Reigns says Uso will lead Team Smackdown to victory and he will dominate Orton and prove Orton's a secondary champion. He respects Orton's accomplishments but not Orton. HERE COMES DREW MCINTYRE!!! Reigns and Heyman look shocked!! McIntyre has a mic and says it's been a minute. McIntyre asks Heyman if he missed him haha. McIntyre was in town and decided to stop by. McIntyre says he will beat Orton on Raw and he'll be facing Reigns at Survivor Series. McIntyre reminds Reigns that the last time they were in the ring together, McIntyre eliminated Reigns at the Royal Rumble. The last time McIntyre saw Heyman, he made Lesnar his bitch at WrestleMania. McIntyre says he stepped up when Reigns was gone. McIntyre is so excited he can barely talk and he says he is the man now and will prove it at Survivor Series. Reigns respects McIntyre and everything he said is true. Reigns claims he is back now and no one cares about McIntyre now. Reigns claims to never watch Raw and claims no one does because they all watch Smackdown. Reigns asks "Who is Drew McIntyre?" McIntyre says he is the guy who is going who will beat Orton on Monday and then show Reigns who the secondary champion really is at Survivor Series. JEY USO RUNS TO THE RING TO GET IN MCINTYRE'S FACE. Uso claims McIntyre is being disrespectful and challenges McIntyre to a match tonight. McIntyre starts to answer but Uso drops the mic on him so McIntyre shoves him and gets in Reigns' face. Reigns, Heyman, and Uso leave without conflict.
The WWE Intercontinental Championship Match is next!
Reigns and Uso argue backstage. Reigns says he calls the shots and Uso shouldn't of came out and made a match for himself. Uso tells him to relax and says he will handle it.
Sami Zayn is in the ring and he's pissed that he only had one hour notice that he had to defend his championship. He's used to being sabbotaged! He will turn this into an opportunity to send a message to Bobby Lashley.
WWE Intercontinental Championship Match
Sami Zayn (champ) vs. Apollo Crews
Sami goes on the attack right away and backs him into the corner. Apollo comes back with clotheslines and splashes Sami in the corner. Military gorilla press by Apollo and Sami goes to the outside. Back in the ring, they jockey for position and Apollo hits a delayed vertical suplex on Sami. Enziguri and standing moonsault by Apollo for a near fall. Sami is sent into the ropes and he bails out of the ring. Sami pulls the ring skirt off the apron. Apollo goes after Sami and Sami sends him into the metal under the ring. SAMI TIES APOLLO UP IN THE RING AND PICKS UP THE WIN BY COUNT OUT @ 2:08!! Sami is so great and smart. Could be the best heel in the business today.
Drew McIntyre talks to Adam Pearce backstage. Pearce is willing to make the match against Jey Uso tonight. McIntyre wants it.
Kayla Braxton is backstage with the Mysterio family. It's the final chapter of the Mysterio/Rollins rivalry. Rey says tonight isn't about him. Things changed when Rollins targeted his family. Rey says their family bond is strong. Rey says Rollins claims is be a Messiah but Rey calls him the Devil. Rey says tonight he sends Rollins to hell!!
WWE Smackdown Women's Champion Sasha Banks makes her way to the ring. She'll be talking after a commercial.
Back from a break, commentary announces Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso will be an unsanctioned match. Commentary shows us highlights of Banks defeating Bayley last week followed by Carmella's attack on Banks. Banks has a mic and says the haters said she couldn't retain but here she is as champion. Banks highs and lows the last 6 months would of ended anyone else but not her. She puts the rest of the locker room on notice. Banks knows Carmella is watching and HERE COMES BAYLEY TO INTERRUPT!! CARMELLA ATTACKS BANKS FROM BEHIND!! CARMELLA LEAVES BANKS LAID OUT!!
Backstage, Otis is destroying a plate of food when Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode. They make fun of him and Otis flips his table of food in rage.
Tribute to the Troops will be December 6th this year on Fox!!
Dolph Ziggler w/ Robert Roode vs. Otis
I guess this match was made because of their backstage altercation. Ziggler slaps Otis right away which pisses Otis off. Otis over powers Ziggler but launching him across the ring. All Otis early on. Roode gets on the apron to distract. ZIGGLER HITS OTIS WITH A ZIG ZAG!! 1...2...NO!! Ziggler tries a super kick but Otis blocks it and slams Ziggler. CATERPILLAR BY OTIS!! OTIS GOES FOR A VADER BOMB AND ROODE DISTRACTS. Otis shoots Roode a look and he gets off the apron. OTIS HITS THE VADER BOMB ON ZIGGLER AND IT'S OVER @ 1:51!! Squash.
Seth Rollins and Murphy talk backstage. Rollins faces Mysterio next!
A video package hypes the WWE Championship and WWE Raw Tag Team Championship matches for Raw this Monday.
AC/DC's "Shot in the Dark" is the official theme song for Survivor Series.
Otis is backstage and pleased with his match. Chad Gable comes to talk to him and tells Otis he needs a mentor. Gable gives him a brochure for the Alpha Academy. Hmm ok?

Seth Rollins w/ Murphy vs. Rey Mysterio w/ The Mysterio Family
Rey goes right after Rollins but Rollins takes Rey to the corner. Rey uses a rana to send Rollins across the ring. Good counters early and Rey gets the upper hand. Rollins rolls to the apron where he hangs Rey across the top rope. Rollins gets a chair but Rey drop kicks Rollins' knee. Rollins avoids a 619. They battle on the apron. REY HITS A TORNADO DDT ON ROLLINS ON THE APRON. Rollins falls to the floor. Rey sends Rollins into the barricade and then the apron. Rollins is sent into the barricade again as they get close to the announce table. Rollins sends Rey into the steps. Rollins gets Rey in an electric chair but Rey escapes and sends Rollins into the barricade. Rey tries to slide out of the ring and do a sunset bomb but ROLLINS CATCHES HIM AND HITS A FALCON ARROW ON REY ONTO THE ANNOUNCE TABLE!! Rollins bounces Rey first face on the table. Back in the ring, Rollins gets a near fall. Rollins focuses on the back of Rey and hits a back breaker. Rollins sends Rey into the corner sternum first Bret Hart styles for a near fall. Rollins wedges the chair between the second and top rope in the corner. More work on the spine of Rey. Rollins tries to send Rey into the chair but Rey avoids it. Rollins charges but hits the turnbuckle. Rey builds offense and hits a senton before planting Rollins with a bulldog. Near fall for Rey. Rey delivers shoulders to Rollins in the corner. Rollins turns the tide and sends Rey out of the ring and he lands on the floor chest first. Rollins goes to the outside and HITS REY IN THE FACE WITH THE STEPS!!! Rollins sets up the bigger portion of the steps. Rollins talks trash to the Mysterio family. Rollins tries to stomp Rey on the steps but Rey avoids it and takes down Rollins on the steps. WITH ROLLINS ON THE STEPS, REY DOES THE SLIDING SPLASH FROM THE RING ONTO ROLLINS AS WE GO TO A COMMERCIAL.
Back from the break. Rollins puts a table in the ring as he continues to work on Rey's back. They trade counters until ROLLINS GOES FOR THREE AMIGOS ON THE ANNIVERSARY OF EDDIE'S DEATH. Rey blocks the third one but Rollins sends the table into the face of Rey. Rollins stomps Rey before trying to pull Rey to the top turnbuckle. Rey fights back with Rollins on the top. Rey goes up with him and they battle. Rey tries a rana but Rollins blocks! ROLLINS POWER BOMBS REY THROUGH THE TABLE!!! 1...2...NO!! Rollins is frustrated. Rollins grabs the chair and takes the stoppers off the legs. ROLLINS TRIES TO PUT REY'S EYES OUT WITH THE CHAIR LEGS!! DOMINIK PULLS ROLLINS OUT OF THE RING BUT ROLLINS SUPER KICKS DOMINIK!! Dominik confronts Rollins but nothing happens. Rollins gets back in the ring where Rey tries to fight back. MURPHY GEETS IN THE RING AND GIVES ROLLINS A CHAIR. Murphy picks up Rey but THEN MURPHY ATTACKS ROLLINS!!! REY BOTCHES A 619 BUT THEN CONNECTS WITH ONE!! REY HITS A FROG SPLASH FOR THE WIN @ 18:26!! Commentary mentions the anniversary of Eddie Guerrero's death. The Mysterio family celebrates together. Murphy watches from the apron. Rey tells Murphy to get in the ring and REY OFFERS MURPHY A HAND SHAKE!! THEY SHAKE HANDS AND AALYAH HUGS MURPHY! DOMINIK SHAKES MURPHY'S HAND AND THEY ALL EMBRACE. Michael Cole uses bad greater good puns.
Adam Pearce is backstage and Natalya interrupts. She wants to be on Team Smackdown but Pearce says she has to earn her way on the team. Pearce says she can qualify in a triple threat match next! PEARCE TURNS AND THERE IS CHELSEA GREEN!!
Rollins is pissed off backstage and goes to Adam Pearce. He's done with Rey but he wants Murphy!!
Fatal Four Way Survivor Series Qualifying Match
Tamina vs. Liv Morgan vs. Natalya vs. Chelsea Green
Natalya, Morgan, and Green all go after Tamina to start but she fights them all off. Liv goes after Tamina's knee and hits a missile drop kick. Tamina is sent into the barricade outside. They all fight on the outside. Back in the ring, Natalya and Liv go back and forth. LIV HITS NATALYA WITH A TORNADO DDT! 1...2...NO!! Natalya and Liv trade blows. Chelsea and Tamina are down outside. Natalya tries a Sharpshooter but Liv fights her off. Natalya wears down Liv with a head lock until Liv escapes. Liv fights back and gets a near fall. Natalya tries another Sharpshooter unsuccessfully. Liv hits Natalya with a face buster but only gets a near fall. Tamina is back in the ring and LIV HITS TAMINA WITH A FACE BUSTER TO WIN @ 3:50!! This match was bad!!! Chelsea and Tamina were outside for more than half. Team Smackdown isn't looking so good except for Bianca Belair.
Kayla Braxton is backstage with Drew McIntyre. She asks McIntyre if it's wise to take on Jey Uso when he faces Randy Orton on Monday. McIntyre plans on sending a message to Orton.
Big E is backstage when the Street Profits approach him. They talk about facing the New Day at Survivor Series. They made a bunch of food and it's all "L" shaped. The Profits says the New Day likes to serve pancakes but they serve losses. Big E says the New Day will prove at Survivor Series that they are the best tag team in the world.
Unsanctioned Match
Drew McIntyre vs. Jey Uso
They lock up and McIntyre backs Uso into the corner. Clean break. Lock up again and McIntyre sends Uso into the ropes before taking him down with a shoulder tackle. Uso tries some offense but McIntyre powers Uso into the corner and delivers a series of strikes. All McIntyre early as he hits a big suplex. Near fall for McIntyre. McIntyre continues the beat down and talks trash while doing it. Uso hits a jaw breaker but his offense is short lived. Uso sends McIntyre out of the ring. Uso catches McIntyre with a kick when he goes to get back in and a super kick by Uso sends McIntyre off the apron and to the floor as we go to a commercial.
We're back and Uso is in control now as he pounds on McIntyre on the mat. McIntyre fires back with punches and chops but he runs into a Samoan drop by Uso. Near fall for Uso. Uso stomps McIntyre in the corner. Uso charges but McIntyre connects with a clothesline. Belly to belly throw by McIntyre! Another!! Neck breaker by McIntyre and a kip up! McIntyre goes for the Future Shock DDT but Uso counters into a jackknife cover for a near fall. McIntyre hits the Glasgow Kiss. Uso comes off the ropes and McIntyre plants him with a spine buster for another near fall. Uso hits McIntyre with a super kick! Uso goes up to the top and McIntyre is up to cut him off. Both men battle on the top turnbuckle. McIntyre gets hung in the tree of woe but he raises up and pulls Uso off the top. McIntyre goes for the Claymore but Uso rolls out of the ring. McIntyre follows him outside where he sends Uso into the barricade and apron multiple times. HERE COMES ROMAN REIGNS!! Paul Heyman is with him. Uso sends McIntyre into the ring post and then into the steps!! Uso puts McIntyre back in the ring and tells Uso he's going to beat him. Reigns stops Uso from getting in the ring. Reigns tells Uso to make McIntyre understand. Uso gets in the ring and mounts McIntyre and delivers punch after punch. USO GETS UP AND WALKS INTO A CLAYMORE!!! 1...2...3 @ 12:31!! MCINTYRE WINS!! MCINTYRE GETS OUT OF THE RING AND STARES DOWN REIGNS!! McIntyre tells Reigns "Do you understand me now!!" Reigns tells McIntyre to get himself a championship and then they'll talk on Sunday! Reigns turns his back and walks away from McIntyre to end the show.
