Ladder Match set for NXT Takeover XXX

The big announcement to kick off NXT tonight was that Keith Lee relinquished the NXT North American championship in order to provide an opportunity for other superstars. William Regal would then announce that there would be a series of triple threat matches to determine who would advance to NXT Takeover XXX to compete in a ladder match to crown a new NXT North American champion.

In the first triple threat qualifying match, Bronson Reed defeated Roderick Strong and Johnny Gargano. This will be Reed's first appearance on a Takeover.

On next week's NXT (7/29), there will be a triple threat qualifying match. It will be Finn Balor vs. Timothy Thatcher vs. Dexter Lumis.
