Another Elimination Chamber Match & Universal Championship Match added to Elimination Chamber

Adam Pearce opened the show with the announcement that Roman Reigns will face the winner of a #1 contender's elimination chamber match. The title match will happen later in the same night. Pearce said Jey Uso and Kevin Owens are also in the match without qualifying. The other spots would be filled in qualifying matches.

King Corbin and Sami Zayn defeated the Mysterios to qualify.

In the other qualifier, Daniel Bryan and Cesaro defeated WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode.
